Hi! I’m Sarah

My passion lies in helping people embrace their authentic selves and navigate life’s challenges with confidence and resilience

I believe that everyone is a unique individual with specific needs, experiences, and dreams, and I’m here to support you on your journey—not to judge it.

My goal is to help you find the courage to advocate for yourself and create the life you envision.

My Commitment to You

I am deeply committed to supporting individuals who feel isolated, misunderstood, or marginalized, especially those from underrepresented communities. I believe in the inherent worth and dignity of every person, and I am passionate about advocating for respect and equality for all.

My interests include working with clients who have experienced sexual, religious, and family trauma, as well as those who struggle with self-harm or suicidal thoughts. I primarily work with individuals aged 16 and older.

My Style

As an existential therapist, I draw on the principles of Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), helping clients balance acceptance with change as they navigate life’s challenges.

While “existential” often evokes thoughts of gloom, I see it as a philosophy that empowers us to live fully, embracing our own light in the time we have. By understanding that our time is finite, we can learn to live authentically and purposefully, sharing kindness, compassion, and brightness with those around us.

A lifelong reader, I’ve developed a strong empathy for the struggles and stories of others.

I often find wisdom in the words of fictional characters. Some of my favorite quotes inspire me to continue advocating for others and to believe in the goodness of humanity:

“Seems to me –” Lee said, feeling for the words, “seems to me the place you fight cruelty is where you find it, and the place you give help is where you see it needed.” — Lee Scoresby, His Dark Materials by Philip Pullman

“The bravest person I know is afraid of the dark. She sleeps with a night lamp always, but if her friends are threatened? She suddenly thinks she’s a bear twelve feet tall and attacks whoever scared her friends. There are all kinds of courage. You’ll find yours.” — Daja, The Circle Opens by Tamora Pierce

“Death isn't empty like you say it is. Emptiness is life without freedom. Emptiness is living chained by fear, fear of loss, of death. I say we break those chains. Break the chains of fear and you break the chains that bind us to Society.” — Eo, Red Rising by Pierce Brown
